Use the same method you signed up with (email, Apple or Google). For an email account, tap Forgot password? on the sign-in screen and we’ll email you a reset link. If it doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or email us.

On iPhone, tap your picture and choose Invite household members; on Android, open your home and tap Members. Send the link: it works once, for the email address you entered, after they sign in.

Check that notifications are on for Homeboard in your phone’s Settings, then open Notifications in the app’s settings. Task reminders are scheduled on your phone, so open the app once after changing a due date.

When you add an appliance with its brand and model (scanning the label is quickest), Homeboard looks for the manufacturer’s manual and attaches it to the appliance. Some older or rare models have no public manual; you can attach your own from the appliance page.

When you send a request, we share the job details (not your name, email or phone) with up to 4 local pros who do that kind of work, starting with the one you picked. Replies and quotes show up in the Pros tab. Pros are available in Oakville, Ontario first, with more areas coming.

It was about a real job near you. Reply to the text or open its link to respond; you don’t need an account. Reply STOP to stop texts. Learn more on our page for pros.
